
SACRED MOVEMENT – PRENATAL YOGA TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Enrolment & Eligibility
By enrolling in Sacred Movement’s Prenatal Yoga Program, the participant affirms that:

They are currently pregnant and have received medical clearance from their midwife or obstetrician/gynecologist (obgyn) to participate in prenatal yoga.

They understand the physical nature of yoga and acknowledge its limitations and potential risks.
2. Health & Safety Declaration
Participants are required to disclose any existing health conditions, pregnancy-related complications, or medical precautions advised by their healthcare provider before starting the program. This includes but is not limited to:

Pre-existing heart conditions

High-risk pregnancy factors

Any restrictions recommended by a midwife or obgyn
Failure to disclose such conditions may result in removal from the class to ensure the safety of both the participant and the unborn child.
3. Assumption of Risk

The participant understands that prenatal yoga involves physical movement and exercise, which may lead to minor or serious injury.

The participant voluntarily assumes all responsibility and risk for injuries or complications arising directly or indirectly from their participation in the program.
4. Waiver of Liability
By signing the waiver, the participant agrees to release Sacred Movement, its instructors, staff, and affiliated parties from any liability related to:

Injuries sustained during class

Medical issues arising from participation

Any consequences resulting from undisclosed medical conditions
5. Emergency Contact & Medical Information
Participants must provide accurate emergency contact details and healthcare provider information, including:

An emergency contact person and phone number

The name and phone number of their midwife or obgyn

Any known allergies or medical conditions
This information will be used strictly for safety purposes in the event of an emergency.
6. Class Conduct & Policies

Participants agree to follow all class guidelines as communicated by the instructor.

Respectful and mindful behavior is expected to ensure a safe and nurturing space for all attendees.

Participants must notify the instructor if their health condition changes at any point during the program.
7. Consent & Acknowledgment
By signing the waiver form, the participant:

Affirms that all information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge.

Confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this document.

Acknowledges their full responsibility for their physical well-being throughout the duration of the program.
